• Full Stack Developer

    Job Description

    A Fortune 50 company is looking for Full Stack Developer to come join their project team as they look to enhance a couple internal applications that support their field operations team. These applications have been in this environment for over 15 years and need development enhancements to help improve the legacy technology. You will be working in both legacy and new technology environments including: Java 1.8+, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC on the backend, and Angular, JSP, HTML and JavaScript on the front end. This role will be about 40% backend development, 30% front end development, 10% unit testing, and about 20% troubleshooting. This role will be working closely with a Principal Engineer on the user stories from the business stakeholders. There is no onsite requirement, however candidates near Alpharetta, GA would be preferred.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of full stack software development experience

     

    Backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC

     

    Front End technologies: Angular, JSP, HTML, Javascript

     

    Oracle database experience

     

    Experience doing unit testing using Junit, Mockito, Jasmine, or Karma

     

    Experience working in an Azure environment

     

    Experience deploying code using tools such as Azure Devops, ANT, or Maven

     

    Agile/Scrum environment

     

    Jira for project tracking

     

    GitHub for code repository

     

    Team player

     

    Excellent communication Any experience upgrading front end from JSP to Angular latest Verizon
