Our client, a leading player in the fintech and IT sectors, is seeking a Commodity Manager to join their team. As a Commodity Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a solid background in IT SaaS, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Commodity Manager

**Location:** Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)

What's the Job?

+ Independently manage the workflow for strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and compliance/governance.

+ Guide the selection, development, and management of strategic suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals.

+ Monitor current commodity market conditions and develop strategies to address supply and demand challenges.

+ Lead negotiations and complete contracts with global strategic suppliers to maximize benefits.

+ Develop and implement spend management strategies, including supplier assessments and rationalization.

What's Needed?

+ BA/BS undergraduate degree.

+ At least five years of progressive commodity/supply chain management experience.

+ Strong understanding of IT and software business and procurement concepts.

+ Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

+ Experience with ethical purchasing behaviors and legal compliance.
