Position Title: Corporate Communications Prof
Duration: 6+ months with high possibilities of extension
Pay Range: 34-36
Job Description
Develop internal and external leadership platforms and content. Support exec readiness and content development. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope. Ensure communications align with HPs brand and narrative framework. Create, implement and measure sustained executive and geographic market communications strategies and plans to advance HPs corporate image, drive employee engagement, support sales or promote executive visibility. Manage corporate reputation, issue management and mitigate crisis. Could include crisis, security, government relations, IT, HR.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analysis in support of team and business priorities.
Assist with preparation of communications materials (e.g. briefing documents, fact sheets, coverage reports).
Monitor news media and current events to help the team stay informed.
Engage with other functions to gain/share information related to shared priorities and inform communications strategies.
Identify new ideas and opportunities to advance the company's corporate communications agenda.
Begin to engage externally on behalf of the company (e.g. targeted media outreach, liaising with conference organizers, collaborating with partners).
Manage and juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines
Knowledge and Skills:
Writing and editing skills requires some peer and manager review.
Prioritization, project management and time management skills.
Ability to translate technical, complex, and varied information into audience-resonating communications.
Impact and Scope: Typically limited to one geography.
Minimal interaction with senior leaders.
Complexity: Low to moderate.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or demonstrated competence.
Typically 2-4 years of experience
