    Position Status: Regular full-time

    Job Description:

    The Research Associate will join Professor Fan Zhang’s group in the Department of Physics at The University of Texas at Dallas to conduct advanced theoretical and computational research in condensed matter physics. The focus will be on strongly interacting electron systems and machine learning-driven optoelectronic properties in two-dimensional materials. The position is full-time, beginning as early as July 1, 2025, and is initially for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years based on performance and mutual agreement.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Ph.D in a related field.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field.
