    Our client, a leader in educational support services, is seeking a Student Services Specialist to join their team. As a Student Services Specialist, you will be part of the Student Services Department supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to build collaborative relationships, which will align successfully in the organization. This position will go to August 29, 2025.

     

    **Job Title:** Student Services Specialist

    **Location:** Grayslake, IL

     

    Pay: $20.52

     

    Part-time: 9am-2pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Maintain and manage a student caseload with intrusive guidance.

    + Support students with setting academic and career goals.

    + Assist students in identifying areas of strength and improvement as it relates to academic, personal, and social behavior.

    + Build collaborative relationships with CLC departments and faculty to communicate and monitor student academic progress.

    + Refer students to appropriate resources including Financial Aid Office, Tutoring Center, Career and Job Placement Center, and Counseling and Psychological Services.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Experience in student services or a related field.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    + Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

    + Understanding of financial aid processes and policies.
