    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to support our client's Enterprise Imaging Radiology and Cardiology solutions. In this role, you will provide both on-site and remote technical support to healthcare clients, ensuring the optimal performance of imaging systems. Your responsibilities will include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of imaging hardware and software, with a strong emphasis on minimizing downtime and maximizing customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Support & Maintenance

     

    - Deliver on-site and remote support for Enterprise Imaging Radiology and Cardiology systems.

     

    - Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools and technical documentation.

     

    - Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.

     

    Equipment Installation & Relocation

     

    - Install, configure, and relocate imaging systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

     

    - Conduct functional testing post-installation to ensure system readiness.

     

    - Maintain detailed documentation of installation activities for compliance and customer records.

     

    Customer Service & Relationship Management

     

    - Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to assess and address technical needs.

     

    - Provide user guidance and recommend performance-enhancing solutions.

     

    - Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster trust and satisfaction.

     

    Documentation & Compliance

     

    - Accurately document service activities, including diagnostics, parts usage, and repairs.

     

    - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal policies.

     

    - Submit timely service reports, expense documentation, and part returns.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 23 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or field service role.

    - Proficiency in:

    - Windows OS troubleshooting

     

    - Re-imaging workstations (ideally within Macrium)

     

    - Driver updates and BIOS troubleshooting

     

    - Server/WKS Hardware troubleshooting

     

    - Window cluster troubleshooting

     

    - Video card troubleshooting

     

    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in customer-facing roles is essential.

     

    - Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.

     

    - Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. - Experience in healthcare IT or medical imaging systems.

     

    - Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, OEM-specific training).

     

    - Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, or HL7 standards. null
