Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Hardware Engineer to work on site in La Vergne, Tennessee for a global fortune 500 technology manufacturing & design company that is building cloud computing technologies for the world's largest search engine, online retailer and social media companies and working in the computer and electronics manufacturing industry. The HW Engineer is in charge of the HW testing and debug environment setup, assist to identify the related hardware engineering issue, communicate with HQ team and vendors to make product can be delivered on time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist the engineers to solve the engineering issue timely.
Set up HW testing and debug environment.
collaborate with R&D to find out the root cause.
Support the manufacturing debug team troubleshoot.
Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to R&D, manufacturing, and customer.
Measure the signal waveform and support the bring up test

Skills and Requirements
1-12 years of hardware experience depending on the level you will be qualified for
Operate the oscilloscope and Digital multi-meter
Solder wire and rework PCB board
Experience reading schematics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Bachelors degree, masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of/Experience in/Proficiency in server/storage/PC hardware architecture
Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills and communication skills.
Experience working in manufacturing and/or product development role.
Firsthand lab debug experience with scopes is desirable.
Experience in designing circuit boards is desirable. null
