Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector is seeking an EHS Specialist to join their team.
As an EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental Health and Safety Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, project management leadership, and strategic decision-making abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Location:** Holland, MI
**Pay Range:** $80-$95K
What's the Job?
+ Establish and promote the maintenance of a safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
+ Serve as the primary technical leader and liaison with governmental regulators on environmental, occupational health, and safety issues.
+ Organize, direct, implement, and maintain the Division’s environmental, occupational health, and safety strategies and objectives.
+ Plan and direct projects while developing long-term strategies to meet future needs.
+ Develop and implement the Division’s environmental, occupational health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree in industrial environmental health management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or a related field.
+ 3-5+ years of diverse professional and managerial experience or equivalent.
+ High degree of technical knowledge and expertise in occupational health, safety, and environmental areas.
+ Strong communication skills to work with internal and external contacts at all levels.
+ Demonstrated project management leadership and proven financial capabilities including budgetary responsibility.
