Our client, a dynamic player in the shipping industry, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Shipping and Receiving Clerk

**Location:** Watervliet, NY

Pay Range: $17/hour

What's the Job?

+ Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.

+ Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

+ Maintain inventory records and assist in stock management.

+ Coordinate with carriers and suppliers for logistics operations.

+ Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in shipping practices.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related field.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

+ Proficient in using inventory management software and tools.

+ Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required.
