    Responsibilities

    Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies.

     

    + Organize operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Model leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to staff to improve effectiveness.

    + Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all productivity plans.

    + Coordinate and integrate services to meet contractual requirements. Conduct ongoing assessments, maintains quality control programs, and improves departmental operations.

    + Direct staff. Manage departmental turnover while maintaining high employee and patient satisfaction.

    + Identify marketing and collaborative opportunities for the department.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + One or more of the following required:

    + Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
