    DESCRIPTION

    We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Manassas, VA.

     

    *$5000.00 Sign on Bonus!!

    You will make an impact in the following ways:

    + Complete repairs on PG products in the field

    + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

    + Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

    + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

    + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

    + Maintain own tools

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

    Experience:

    + Minimal level of field service related experience

    + Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products

    + High Voltage/Low Voltage practical experience an asset

    What you will be doing on a daily basis :

    + PM services on generators (data centers generators and some residential).

    + Help level 3 techs with more technical jobs and minor repairs.

    + Afterhours and weekend work will be needed

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    + Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)

    + Current relevant electrical certification

    + This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    A current valid license is required for this role

     

    Be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

     

    This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
