Job Summary and Qualifications

The Supervisor of Cardiovascular Services reports directly to the Cardiovascular Service Line Director. Duties include program evaluation, monitoring processes and mitigating deficits related to meeting or exceeding National program benchmarks. The incumbent identifies opportunities for improvement based on evidence based practices, regulatory, accrediting agency and clinical research trial requirements. The incumbent will maintain multiple databases and dashboards, as well as analyze complex patient care data for reporting to county, state and national registries as well as to leadership at the site, division and corporate levels. Partnership with Los Robles departments, physicians and management is essential to achieve overall quality goals. In addition, the incumbent has oversight of training and quality assurance for the cardiac echocardiography program.

+ You will develop plans and provide for continuing education and development of staff in areas of procedure, protocols, safety and infection control.

+ You will be responsible for oversight of American Heart Association GWTG for Heart Failure and CAD registries; responsible for NCDR PCI and A Fib registries training and quality assurance; responsible for STS, TVT (TAVR/TMVR), LAAO and CCorp Registries; responsible for LA and Ventura County STEMI Registries; and responsible for Heart Failure and Chest Pain programs.

+ You will maintain departmental quality assurance program in compliance with ICAEL and ICAVL guidelines, NCDR, STS, AHA-GWTG and other local, state and national regulatory standards.

+ You will comply with the organization’s risk management program, including timely and accurate occurrence reporting.

+ You will plan, conduct, and document in-services in conjunction with department manager to achieve and/or sustain technical competency of staff.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.

+ Minimum 3-5 years of ER and/or ICU clinical nursing experience

+ Prior cardiovascular service line support experience.

+ Experience in Quality or data abstraction preferred

+ Experience with Meditech and HPF preferred
