Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform a variety of mammographic examinations that often require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to best demonstrate the anatomy of interest. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.

In this role:

+ You will operate mammography equipment and components to perform routine and specialized mammograms to include screening, diagnostic, and magnification views.

+ You will perform complex Ecklund, tangential, exaggerated views, etc

+ You will be required to perform needle localizations, ductograms and perform stereotactic biopsies and bone densitometry procedures.

+ You will be responsible to introduce the basics of mammography to student Technologists.

+ You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs.

+ You will function as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

What qualifications you will need:

+ (ARRT-M) Mammography must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

+ (ARRT-R) Radiography

+ Associate Degree

+ American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
