    Senior IT Cyber Security Engineer/Architect

     

    Top work/life balance company in Atlanta is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer/Architect to work 100% onsite in Sandy Springs.

     

    Long term contract role.

     

    We’re hiring a **Senior IT Security Engineer/Architect** to lead enterprise security efforts on a **contract basis** . If you're passionate about designing secure architectures, defending networks, and driving security strategy—this role is for you.

    What You'll Do:

    + Architect and implement robust IT security solutions

    + Lead risk assessments, pen testing & incident response

    + Optimize tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure AD, Palo Alto firewalls

    + Collaborate across teams to embed security best practices

    + Guide security policy development & awareness training

    What You Bring:

    + 5+ years of experience in IT security (engineering/architecture)

    + Certifications like CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a big plus

    + Expertise with cloud & on-prem security (Microsoft 365, Azure, SCCM, VPNs, MFA)
