About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an ABS Structurer at the Vice President level to join our team within the Asset Backed Securitization Group (ABS). ABS provides financing and capital markets solutions to entities that own, originate, or service consumer and commercial assets. The Structuring & Analytics team within ABS is responsible for the front-office analytical aspects of the business including structuring and modeling term securitization and loan transactions backed by assets including but not limited to auto loans and leases, credit card receivables, consumer loans, timeshare receivables, equipment loans and leases, royalty payments, and operating assets such as containers, railcars, and aircraft.
In this role, you will:
+ Structure and run modeling scenarios for term ABS securitization, warehouse, and term loan transactions backed by commercial and consumer assets
+ Utilize knowledge of analytical tools, rating agency methodologies, and market conditions to develop appropriate capital structure for transactions in conjunction with banking team
+ Reverse engineer deals using Intex Dealmaker, Excel, VBA, and rating agency tools
+ Review deal documents (offering circular, indenture, term sheets, credit agreements) to ensure documents and modeling are consistent
+ Explain key structural features and modeling results to banking team, credit officers, issuers, and investors
+ Provide quantitative analyses required for internal credit packages in support of our lending business
+ Review analysis results and offer recommendations to improve capital structure efficiency
+ Interact with syndicate and salespeople in support of marketing activities
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in commercial and consumer structured products
+ 5 years capital markets industry experience. Experience in structuring and modeling ABS or similar CLO, CMBS, RMBS, products is preferred
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, superior knowledge of Excel and VBA programming
+ Strong technical and analytical skills including financial analysis
+ Knowledge of fixed income mathematics
+ Familiarity with Intex and rating agency tools and methodology
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills with attention to detail
+ Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
+ A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field or business degree with quantitative emphasis
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
+ Registration for FINRA Series SIE, 63 and 79 must be completed within 180 days of hire date, if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Pay Range:
+ Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates $173,300.00 - $359,900.00
+ May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards
