About this role:
This position will provide strategic leadership for community relations programs in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area; encompassing the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. As a Senior Lead in the DMV region, this position will collaborate with senior business leaders and community stakeholders to advance Wells Fargo’s reputation as a premier corporate citizenship leader. This highly visible role will sit at **1700 K Street, NW** in **Washington, DC** and offers a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will:
+ Develop innovative strategies to align with community relations programs and philanthropic initiatives
+ Design stakeholder engagement strategies that position company as a corporate citizenship leader
+ Manage grant programs, measure impact, progress against commitments and portfolio effectiveness
+ Champion employee engagement initiatives to support volunteerism and community leadership
+ In partnership with Corporate Communications, secure positive news coverage for proactive messaging and strategic reputation management
+ Partner with civic and nonprofit community organizations to execute on philanthropy strategies.
+ Support a strong risk culture and compliance with federal, state and local banking regulations
+ Serve as a key member of the community relations team and bring best practices to scale
+ Drive market activations and amplify storytelling opportunities along with the Foundations mission
+ In partnership with Government Relations & Public Policy, engage with key government, stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of Community Impact & Sustainability experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience developing strategic plans for community-based initiatives for a Fortune 500 company
+ Experience driving transformational change objectives to align with philanthropic initiatives
+ Experience developing financial projections and analyzing variances for community impact initiatives
+ Experience partnering with community organizations such as non-profits and activist groups
+ Experience presenting information that persuades, and enhances understanding at all levels
+ Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Office Location & Pay Range:
+ 1700 K Street, NW - Washington, DC ($126,400 - $262,600)

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
