About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in the Recovery & Resolution Program Office within Corporate Treasury. The successful candidate will have a keen ability to critically analyze and synthesize complex information to clearly and concisely draft original and technical communications, segments of regulatory reports and plans with financial underpinnings, responses to regulatory inquiries, and other related material for banking regulators and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also effectively comment upon and edit similar work of others and collaboratively disposition the feedback given in individual and group settings. Training, coaching, or similar experience is important to executing the responsibility to lead the writing and education curriculum that is deployed regularly to contributors and subject matter experts across the enterprise. The ability to quickly develop a strong working knowledge of Wells Fargo’s operations, recovery and resolution planning concepts, and certain applicable regulatory frameworks will be key to success in this role, as will the ability to produce and deliver presentations suitable for senior management and executive-level audiences.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
+ Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
+ Perform fact-based, risk-focused assessments and creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
+ Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
+ Collaborate, consult, and develop trusting relationships with members of the Systemic & Strategic Programs team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
+ Influence, guide, and lead less experienced employees within the group
+ Produce quality work in time-sensitive situations notwithstanding numerous layers of scrutiny
Required Qualifications, US:
+ 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Significant experience writing, editing, and training on the development of technical/regulatory writing content
+ Experience managing drafting processes with multiple, cross-functional contributors
+ Experience with style guide and preference for managing a bespoke style guide
+ JD (or other advanced degree that requires technical writing proficiency) preferred
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
