    Position Overview

    We are searching for a proven Senior Director, Digital & Brand Management, with a demonstrated track record of digital and brand leadership and progressive achievement to work in a fast-paced shared services environment. This is a significant people-focused, results-driven leadership role managing a current team of eight (8) professionals across strategic content creation, web development, social media, e-mail marketing, and other digital- and brand-related marketing/communications programs. The position partners with 27 Fujifilm subsidiaries in the Americas on digital marketing/communications, content creation, and brand management strategies and activities across industries including healthcare, electronics, industrial, consumer, business innovation, and imaging. This well-established leader reports to the Head of Corporate Communications & Brand at FUJIFILM Holdings America.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    The Senior Director, Digital & Brand Management, will play a key leadership role in strategizing, developing, and executing a range of digital marketing/communications, content creation, and brand management programs in the Americas. These programs will support the marketing and sales activities of various Fujifilm business units in the Americas. In addition, the experienced brand leader will be responsible for the management and development of Fujifilm’s corporate brand in the Americas -- ensuring overall consistency and investments to build/protect/and defend the Fujifilm brand in a way that provides business value. The proven digital marketing-brand management leader will be responsible for managing integrated digital, content, and brand projects – driving results for key corporate and business initiatives among internal and external stakeholders.

    Position Responsibilities

    In executing the overarching Corporate Communications & Brand strategy and purpose to support business and corporate objectives, the responsibilities of the Senior Director, Digital & Brand Management, will be:

    Team Leadership

    + Lead a diverse team of business partners and digital and brand functional professionals to help achieve business objectives across 27 Fujifilm subsidiaries.

    + Create and launch progressive capabilities by energizing and leading strong cross-functional teams, operationalizing plans, and enabling change.

    + Develop and lead the team to oversee content creation and channels delivery while also managing relationships with key partners both internally and externally -- ensuring impactful communications campaigns and messaging.

    + Responsible for professional development and strengthening capabilities of digital marketing/communications, content creation, and brand management team.

    + Champion digital marketing/communications, content creation, and brand management best practices, processes, and policies through engaged governance and ensure consistent execution by team as well as other internal stakeholders and external partners.

    Relationship Management

    + Effectively build sustainable relationships both internally and externally to help achieve business outcomes – including with Fujifilm business leaders, Tokyo Office colleagues, and strategic external partners.

    + Demonstrated expertise in strategically engaging, counseling, and influencing business partners regarding digital marketing/communications and brand management programs.

    + Actively seek collaboration – especially with Senior Director, Internal & External Communications -- to focus, coordinate and leverage as a significant strategic leader of one integrated Corporate Communications function.

    + Leverage existing external partnerships for the benefit of the Fujifilm brand and businesses.

    + Demonstrated ability to be effective in a highly-matrixed organization.

    + Set and manage business expectations, including developing, executing and tracking measurements in line with communication activities through monthly and quarterly reporting.

    Digital Marketing/Communications

    + Create the strategy and lead the execution of digital marketing/communications approach and programs to support Fujifilm businesses in the Americas – including strategic content creation, digital governance, websites, social media channels, digital asset management, visuals (photography, infographics, graphics, etc.), and emerging new media channels.

    + Leverage your deep digital acumen across external and internal channels with brand experience including visual / verbal standards development.

    + Lead a competency-based team -- including direct reports, functional reports and digital super users -- to effectively strategize, develop, and disseminate brand-aligned content in digital channels toward achieving specific business outcomes.

    + Enable digital transformation adoption by educating/coaching communications colleagues and business partners on incorporating innovative digital strategies usage for achieving their target outcomes.

    Brand Management

    + Responsible for the management and development of the corporate Fujifilm brand in the Americas, collaborating closely with Fujifilm Tokyo team and businesses in the Americas.

    + Champion Fujifilm brand guidelines in the Americas to maximize value of brand expression, collaborating closely with Fujifilm businesses and Tokyo team.

    + Accountable for ensuring brand usage by Fujifilm employees and partners in the Americas follow established brand guidelines.

    + Lead brand-building investments which will build/protect/and defend the Fujifilm brand in a way that provides business value.

    + Conduct formal brand reviews with output to evolve Fujifilm brand and associated business brands.

    + Coordinate with Legal team to ensure legal issues, trademarks, and brand equity are properly maintained.

    Content Creation

    + Lead the strategy in developing targeted content creation campaigns expressed through mediums including video, print, social, and experiential.

    + Lead the strategic and tactical development as well as supervising external partners to ensure that all content creations and collateral follows both brand and industry standards.

    + Develop Content Management System as the centerpiece for disseminating content to ensure continuous and optimized presence on digital platforms and company internet/ intranet (i.e., blogs, tweets, videos, RSS feeds, podcasts, etc.)

    + Build and develop an engaging content brand portal to ensure it is easy to store, search and share content and digital assets.

    + Ensure the brand portal makes it easy for internal stakeholders and agency partners to bring our brand strategy to life.

    + Identify opportunities to optimize our brand portal using AI and the latest techniques and drive them to successful completion.

    Social Media Strategy

    + Lead social media strategy and execution Playbook for Fujifilm entities in Americas.

    + Drive and track the company’s social media presence across relevant sites and platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, company blog, etc.)

    + Manage online presence by tracking and listening to users, reading discussion forums, and coordinating with company experts and communications partners on appropriate responses.

    + Lead efforts to build online communities, capture and engage audiences, coordinates campaigns and targets online outreach programs to key stakeholders

    + Drive the execution of strategies to develop sustainable social media growth of Fujifilm in the Americas.

    + Present reporting and analytics reports to businesses, and provide recommendations to improve engagement and growth

    Required Skills/Education:

    + 20+ years of digital marketing/communications and brand management experience in a corporate business environment is required. ~5+ years of digital and brand leadership experience specifically in life sciences, healthcare or pharma is required.

    + An undergraduate degree is required, with an advanced degree in Marketing or MBA is preferred.

    + Possess a deep digital acumen across external and internal channels with brand experience including visual /verbal content standards development

    + Demonstrated leadership experience in successfully working/collaborating with peers/colleagues in a range of cultures and geographies, with Japan and Europe experience a plus.

    + The demonstrated ability to grasp complex technical concepts for effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.

    + Experience in a shared services organization is highly desirable.

    + Excellent project-planning and project-management skills.

    + Superior organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

    + Travel 15%
