    Description

    PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER - 20 hours a week

     

    We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. This role will focus on essential bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records.     Responsibilities:

    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction management.

    • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card accounts.

    • Maintain and update financial records using bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks.

    • Assist with month-end close procedures, ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.

    • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

    • Conduct data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date and organized financial information.

    • Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

    • Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies or concerns.

    • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.

    • Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong understanding of account reconciliations and bank reconciliation processes.

    • Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations.

    • Ability to handle month-end close tasks with attention to detail.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.

    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
