Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented FP& A Analyst to join our team on the westside of Cleveland. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing and analyzing financial models, assisting with budget processes, and maintaining the integrity of FP& A data. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a desire to grow their expertise in financial planning and analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Create and analyze financial models for both new and existing contracts, collaborating with management and legal teams to draft and review retailer agreements.
• Partner with business units to compile estimates, plans, and reports, while identifying risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results, forecasts, and budgets.
• Develop and maintain processes for monthly financial close and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare performance reports and compile relevant data to support FP& A, accounting, audit, and other departments.
• Manage financial systems by updating data, ensuring version control, and performing uploads and downloads using tools like SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Reconcile data across multiple financial systems to ensure alignment with the general ledger.
• Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and legal teams to provide financial insights that drive organizational success.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, treasury, or a similar area.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Statements of Cash Flows.
• Proven ability to build complex financial models for forecasting and analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools, with experience in FP& A systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
