Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will excel in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, and tracking payments.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate and properly recorded.

• Manage cash applications and collections to maintain positive cash flow.

• Communicate with customers to resolve outstanding balances and address account inquiries.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to maintain and analyze financial data.

• Handle commercial collections with professionalism and efficiency.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable activities and financial status.

• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to customer payments and invoices.

• Maintain organized records of receivables and collections for audit purposes. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, billing, and cash applications.

• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and customer account management.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

• Ability to analyze financial data and produce accurate reports.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
