Description We are looking for a skilled Property Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned properties. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and a commitment to maintaining compliance with industry standards. You will play a key part in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with various teams to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Oversee month-end closing activities for assigned entities and properties.

• Record and reconcile journal entries in the general ledger with attention to accuracy.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate variances.

• Assist in managing cash clearing processes and preparing adjusting entries.

• Analyze financial reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Review partner and lender agreements to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Generate financial reports and compliance documentation for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient accounting processes.

• Maintain adherence to internal controls and company policies to ensure financial security. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• 4-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.

• Proficiency in RealPage software is required.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including complex functions and formulas.

• Strong familiarity with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

• Ability to manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Self-driven and adaptable to evolving priorities and tasks.
