Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Tax Manager for our client to join their dedicated services team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will focus on reviewing complex tax work, mentoring staff, and providing consultative advice to clients. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with a diverse range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized businesses, while contributing to a feedback-driven culture.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the review of complex federal and individual tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to early-career staff, helping them grow professionally and achieve their career goals.

• Collaborate with clients to deliver proactive tax planning strategies and consultative solutions.

• Work closely with tax teams, including partners, managers, and staff, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding business consulting needs, such as selling businesses or strategic planning.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous feedback and recognition.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice tailored to their needs.

• Manage workloads during busy seasons, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining team morale.

• Participate in firm-wide initiatives to promote employee growth and skill development.

• Stay updated on federal tax regulations and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.

• Expertise in reviewing federal and individual tax returns and implementing tax planning strategies.

• Proven ability to mentor and develop staff within a collaborative team environment.

• Strong consultative skills with experience working directly with clients on complex tax matters.

• Familiarity with high-net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized business tax needs.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both in-person and remotely.

• CPA certification or equivalent designation is required.

• Ability to adapt to flexible work arrangements
