Our client, a growing and innovative biotech organization, is seeking a Budget Analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in financial planning and resource allocation within a cutting-edge industry.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in preparing, maintaining, and analyzing budgets across multiple projects and departments.

+ Develop financial forecasts to anticipate funding needs and align with organizational goals.

+ Monitor and evaluate budget performance by comparing actual results versus forecasts and identifying key variances.

+ Work closely with department managers and project teams to provide data-driven recommendations.

+ Maintain accurate tracking of direct and indirect costs for projects, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and biotech-specific regulations.

+ Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards, ensuring clarity for leadership and external stakeholders.

+ Identify and implement opportunities to streamline budget processes and improve financial visibility.

+ Ensure adherence to industry-specific regulations and organizational financial policies.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred).

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of budget-related experience, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.

+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with budgeting tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, NetSuite, or SAP).

+ Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.

+ Proven ability to ensure accuracy and quality in budget preparations and reporting.

+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage evolving budgetary needs within the biotech industry.
