Description

Robert Half Contracts Finance and Accounting division is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join a great and very well-known construction firm in Folsom! This Purchasing Coordinator would be handling tasks such as

Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services in line with project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.

Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.

Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and engineers to forecast material needs and prevent delays or shortages.

Maintain accurate purchase records and vendor databases, tracking deliveries, invoices, and compliance with purchase orders.

Monitor market trends and supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and strategic sourcing improvements.

The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of purchasing experience, ERP software knowledge and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you are interested in this full-time opportunity that would start right away, apply today!

Requirements • At least 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in using ERP systems such as Epicor, Great Plains, or similar software.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, including budgeting and accounts payable.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain vendor relationships.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
