    Part-Time Evening Data Entry Clerk - Billing I

    Position Scope:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk - Billing I during the evening shift. This entry-level position is responsible for providing administrative support to Billing Operations while delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Primary tasks include data entry, clerical duties, responding to inquiries, and assisting with customer communications.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide administrative support to Billing Operations, including data entry, imaging maintenance, and generating correspondence.

    • Perform clerical duties such as making copies and organizing documentation.

    • Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries and requests.

    • Accurately read and interpret standard Bills of Lading and freight data.

    • Apply logic to tasks that require varying parameters.

    • Maintain billing records with imaging and data accuracy.

    • Achieve a preferred data entry speed of 8,000 + Keystrokes per hour

    • Maintain error rates of ≤ 5% and billing accuracy of ≥ 95%.

    • Assist with customer outreach, such as calls, when required.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Shift:

    Part-time evening hours 7pm-midnight Monday through Friday

    Requirements

    Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, & Education:

    • At least 1 year of clerical experience, preferably within the transportation industry.

    • Experience working with AS400 systems or similar technology is preferred.

    • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

    • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
