Description

Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our client in Fort Worth. This is 100% remote within the US. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Contribute to budgeting processes and support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) initiatives.

• Manage cost accounting responsibilities, including inventory accounting

• Handle diverse accounting tasks such as property tax management, insurance tracking, and maintaining compliance documentation.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Assist in implementing and optimizing QuickBooks Online across different business units.

• Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, with over 5 years experience as a Senior Accountant

• Proven expertise in account reconciliation, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entry processes.

• Proficiency in financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks Online.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

• Experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.

• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, particularly in inventory management.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
