Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone skilled in payroll analysis and reconciliation, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is detail-oriented. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate employee leave and payroll calculations while supporting internal teams and meeting customer deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized payroll plans tailored to customer needs by collaborating with leave specialists.

• Analyze employer leave pay policies and apply them effectively within payroll plans.

• Reconcile discrepancies between payroll plans, leave benefit estimates, and actual payments.

• Ensure all payroll calculations are accurate and promptly recorded on the Sparrow dashboard.

• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain smooth workflows and meet deadlines.

• Provide timely support to leave specialists by delivering precise and personalized payroll solutions.

• Conduct thorough reviews of payroll data to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Address customer inquiries related to payroll calculations and resolve issues efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll analysis and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in data entry with exceptional attention to detail.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing payroll data.

• Strong ability to interpret and apply employer leave pay policies.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and addressing customer concerns.

• Familiarity with payroll systems and processes.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
