    Description

    Opening for a Senior Accountant at company in Coconut Grove. Bachelors of Accounting required.

     

    Salary $85-$95,000

     

    Bonus: Yes, annual

    Position Overview: Investment firm on a Global scale under an umbrella including Real-estate, PE, Ventures, Development, Construction and other. This is a team oriented and collaborative setting and promotes career advancement and the opportunity to cultivate skills. The ideal candidates has a Degree in Accounting.

     

    + Performs Full Cycle, GL Accounting and Reconciliations

    + Prepares Financial statements and assists with Month end close process

    + Manages reporting on financial consolidation

    + Oversees multiple entities including PE side and for adjustments on entries, intercompany transactions, financial statements

    + Handles various transactions for the multiple entities and wire transfer oversight

    + Assists with tax documentation and compliance

    + Provides information to Auditors and maintains requests

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

    • Previous experience in public accounting or exposure to Big 4 firms is highly desirable

    • Proficiency in Yardi software or similar accounting systems is preferred

    • Strong understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes
