Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join a growing organization. This entry-level accounting role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to learn and grow in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with daily accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable/receivable and reconciling bank statements.

+ Support month-end and year-end financial close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

+ Maintain and update financial records to ensure all transactions are accurately logged.

+ Help generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

+ Conduct research to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights to management.

+ Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

+ Provide support during audits and assist in documenting processes for internal controls.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; current students with relevant coursework may be considered.

+ 0-2 years of accounting or finance experience, including internships.

+ Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

+ Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.

+ Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
