Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to build meaningful client relationships while supporting our commitment to high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, including requests for quotes, order placements, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
• Process and validate customer orders for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they meet technical specifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, production teams, and logistics personnel to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions, orders, and relevant communications.
• Utilize order entry and production systems to create and manage customer orders efficiently.
• Identify and escalate technical issues to appropriate team members for resolution when required.
• Promote company products and services by actively soliciting new orders and fostering client engagement.
• Ensure adherence to company quality management systems and safety protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a call center or order management environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with Google Suite applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multi-line phone systems and email correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing.
• Basic math skills for handling quotes, orders, and pricing inquiries.
• Familiarity with scheduling appointments and coordinating logistics is a plus. TalentMatch®
