    Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work with diverse financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting systems and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.

    • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records.

    • Prepare and review journal entries to support the general ledger.

    • Oversee month-end close procedures, including financial reporting and documentation.

    • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP to streamline financial operations.

    • Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

    • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve financial workflows.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounting processes.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

     

    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail and accuracy.

    • Proficiency in accounting software, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.

    • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.

    • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
