Description

We are partnering with a leading toy and entertainment company looking for an experienced IP Litigation Attorney to join their in-house litigation team. This is a long-term contract role with the potential to convert to a direct hire and is hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days work from home) in Chatsworth, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for handling disputes, advising internal business clients, and litigating cases as counsel-of-record

• Work on Intellectual Property Trademark Disputes and Employment matters, as needed.

• Develop litigation strategies and evaluate claims to ensure effective case resolution.

• Prepare legal filings, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

• Provide legal advice to business clients and management regarding claims, defenses, and dispute resolution strategies.

• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements and other dispute resolution documents.

• Respond to third-party subpoenas.

• Collaborate with and oversee work performed by external counsel as needed.

• Full time, 40 hour work week.

• 3 days on site, 2 days work from home

• Pay $70 - $90 / hr DOE

Requirements

+ 5+ years of IP Litigation experience.

+ CA Barred.

+ Strong knowledge of U.S. and international trademark laws, brand enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting regulations.

+ Excellent judgment and decision-making skills with a strategic, proactive mindset.

+ Well-organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset.
