Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our mission-driven team in San Diego, California. As part of a non-profit organization, you will play a vital role in connecting individuals with essential resources, providing compassionate support, and ensuring every interaction is handled with care and professionalism. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the community.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming inquiries and provide accurate information, referrals, or assistance based on client needs.
• Record all interactions promptly and accurately using web-based systems.
• Stay informed about available services, programs, and resources to deliver effective support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client concerns and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all customer communications.
• Utilize CRM tools and other software platforms to manage client interactions efficiently.
• Assist customers with billing functions, benefit inquiries, and other service-related issues.
• Leverage systems like ADP, Avaya CMS, and Epic Software to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements for better service outcomes. Requirements • Associate’s degree or higher preferred, though equivalent experience and education beyond high school will be considered.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role.
• Background in public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related fields is advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in using web-based systems, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with software such as ADP, Avaya CMS, CRM tools, and Epic Software.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. TalentMatch®
