Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an **ABMD/Avenger Program Manager (Level K)** to join our **Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD)** team in **Huntsville, Alabama** .

Position Responsibilities:

+ Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Program Management

+ Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

+ Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

+ Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

+ Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

+ Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan

+ Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ More than 3 years of experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams

+ More than 3 years of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ More than 3 years of experience with Program Management on defense related programs

+ Experience with Missile Defense Agency and/or US Army Air Defense programs

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $126,650 - $171,350
