Cedars-Sinai is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our premier Urology program, one of the leading centers in Southern California. This program specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat diseases of the urinary tract, offering patients less pain, faster recovery, and fewer complications compared to open surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care and Evaluation:

+ Analyze and prioritize the care of clinically sophisticated patients by conducting sociocultural, cognitive, functional, nutritional, and educational evaluations.

+ Develop problem lists and patient management plans, ensuring effective communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Patient Advocacy and Representation:

+ Serve as a patient advocate throughout the care process, representing the medical center at regional and national meetings/conferences.

Quality Improvement:

+ Assess the quality of patient care delivery and identify opportunities for practice changes rooted in evidence-based standards of care that promote positive patient outcomes.

Adaptability and Strategy:

+ Adjust to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare environment, demonstrating flexibility in approach and care strategies.

Qualifications

Education:

+ Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Experience:

+ Minimum of one year of experience as a certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a focus on minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating urinary tract diseases

License/Certification:

+ Current, unrestricted California PA license.

+ DEA License required (schedule 2-5)

+ National PA certification.

+ Valid ACLS
