    Position Description:

    We are seeking an Enterprise Application Developer to join our team, focusing on developing software solutions based on requirements crafted by Business Analysts to address large-scale enterprise needs. Your work will be conducted within the organization's application development framework, collaborating closely with Business Analysts to fulfill client goals and implement effective business solutions.

     

    This position is located in USA VA Fort Belvoir -- USAVAFOR1.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Oracle EBS applications based on business requirements, diagnosing and resolving complex issues, and collaborating with various technical and business teams.

     

    Designs, develops, tests, and implements software solutions and enhancements within the Oracle EBS 12.x framework based on requirements provided by Business Analysts.

     

    Creates, manages, and customizes RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) objects within Oracle EBS.

     

    Utilizes a range of Oracle development tools including Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), JDeveloper, TOAD, SQL Developer, and SQL*Loader.

     

    Develops code using core Oracle technologies like SQL and PL/SQL, as well as relevant programming languages such as Java (within OAF/EBS context), JavaScript, HTML, and Web Based APIs (JSON, SOAP, REST).

     

    Diagnoses, troubleshooting, and resolve software issues, bugs, and integration problems within the Oracle EBS environment and across connected applications.

     

    Collaborates effectively with Systems Architects to evaluate and integrate new third-party applications, tools, or libraries.

     

    Works closely with Business Analysts and other team members throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.

     

    Creates and maintains comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, deployment guides (e.g., MD50, MD70, MD12), and code documentation.

     

    Acts as a mentor, providing guidance and support to other Oracle EBS Developers.

     

    Identifies opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions.

     

    Stays current with relevant system trends, technologies, and development techniques through continuous learning.

     

    May contribute to project management activities for specific IT initiatives.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    Clearance: Secret Clearance Required

    Must have 5+ years’ experience developing software development, ideally supporting large-scale enterprise systems

    Must have a B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.

     

    Proven expertise in Oracle EBS 12.x application development and support.

     

    Deep proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

     

    Extensive experience developing and managing RICEFW objects.

     

    Proficiency in core Oracle development tools (Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, OAF, JDeveloper, etc.).

     

    Experience working within established SDLC processes and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

     

    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and end-users.

     

    Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models is a plus.

     

    Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools (e.g., Appian, Salesforce, Nintex) is a plus.

    Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development is a plus.

     

    One of the following certifications: IAT-II security certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP

     

    DFARS 252.239-7001 Information Assurance Contractor Training and Certification.

     

    One of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials.

     

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,900.00 - $137,100.00.
