    The Boeing Company is seeking a **Senior Safety and Health Specialist** to join our Environmental, Health and Safety organization in **Hazelwood MO, or Berkeley, MO** .

     

    Join Boeing's Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team in St. Louis as a Senior Safety Specialist and be at the forefront of ensuring safe and effective testing of our cutting-edge aerospace products! In this exciting role, you will support the verification and validation processes across a diverse range of systems, from commercial airplanes to military aircraft, while championing the highest safety standards.     Position Responsibilities:

    + Plans, implements and assesses occupational health and safety programs and processes to maintain a safe and healthy work environment

    + Develops and leads training and instructions

    + Interprets and advises on the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations

    + Evaluates and provides selection advice on existing or emergent risk management control technologies

    + Leads audits, inspections and investigations and coordinates resolution of issues

    + Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections

    + Works with management to facilitate risk management decisions

    + Analyzes emerging technology for the identification of potential hazards and control methods

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + 5+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

    + 5+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals

    + Experience in design for fall protection systems

    Summary pay range: $110,500 – $149,500
