Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client on a contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role requires expertise in billing, invoicing, and collections, as well as the ability to manage complex customer accounts and billing scenarios. The ideal candidate will have strong math skills and proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel and NavisWorks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections.

• Create and maintain customer-specific billing setups to ensure accuracy across various client scenarios.

• Process and review 150-200 invoices weekly, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

• Collaborate with the operations team to address billing needs and resolve discrepancies.

• Research and follow up on short payments, sending statements and maintaining clear communication with clients.

• Assist with month-end processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.

• Handle commissions and ensure proper documentation and calculations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting tasks.

• Work with NavisWorks to support billing and account management activities.

Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to navigate and manage data effectively.

• Hands-on experience with Autodesk NavisWorks or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of billing and invoicing processes, particularly within B2B environments.

• Excellent math skills and attention to detail.

• Proven ability to handle complex billing scenarios and customer-specific setups.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in collections, including sending statements and resolving payment issues.
