Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team in Wahiawa, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting agricultural and production data to support operational and managerial decision-making. This position also involves coordinating pineapple forcing operations and providing critical insights for business strategies. If interested in this role, please call Melissa Tree 808.452.0254. Responsibilities:
• Analyze agricultural data such as production metrics, material inventories, and fruit estimates to support operating budgets and decision-making processes.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of pineapple forcing operations, including preparing maps and providing ripening instructions.
• Compile and report field data from activities like fruit estimating, bud counts, and pre- and post-harvest surveys to guide management decisions.
• Act as a liaison between operations in Hawaii and Costa Rica by sharing updates on spraying schedules, planting progress, and harvesting activities.
• Prepare and analyze data for annual operating budgets, including variance analyses for fresh packing, juice production, and chilled cut operations.
• Monitor and report weekly production metrics, identifying and interpreting variances.
• Manage inventory accounts for agricultural materials and prepare recurring journal entries for Costa Rica operations.
• Serve as a backup for the Fresh Operations Logistics Administrator when necessary.
• Contribute to safety programs by ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe workplace environment.
• Support the accounting team by preparing productivity and statistical reports, as well as performing special analytical projects.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong skills in networking and collaboration.
• Familiarity with auditing processes and budget management.
• Ability to work with and interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Experience in agriculture or production industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
