Description

We are looking for a skilled Deduction Analyst to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial disputes, analyzing pricing incentives, and ensuring smooth transactions with customers. This hybrid position requires in-office collaboration on Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work options available on Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve customer disputes related to pricing, rebates, and deductions, ensuring accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with customers to address discrepancies and provide solutions for ship and debit transactions.

• Review customer feedback and responses to disputes, implementing necessary updates and adjustments.

• Manage incentive programs, including marketing allowances and deviated pricing structures.

• Utilize electronic data interchange (EDI) systems, such as 844 and 849, to facilitate efficient transaction processing.

• Conduct research to substantiate claims and communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Maintain detailed documentation of dispute resolutions and agreement updates.

• Support accounts receivable processes by investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely paybacks.

• Apply advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Foster strong communication with customers to build trust and streamline resolution processes.

Requirements • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, pricing analysis, or rebate management.

• Proficiency in handling ship and debit transactions and managing incentive programs.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively address customer concerns.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with EDI systems, including 844 and 849, for electronic transactions.

• Experience in accounts receivable processes and dispute resolution.

• Degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.

• Knowledge of SAP R/3 systems is a plus.
