    Overview

    Element has an opportunity for a **NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector/ Trainee, Level I and Level II (3rd Shift)** to

    perform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products,

    manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following

    specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results. This role will be 1st shift Mon-Friday at the start and will in the near future be a Sun - Wed (10 hour shifts) or Wed-Sat (10 hour shifts) in the coming months.

     

    Salary: $27.50- $37/hr DOE

    Responsibilities

    + Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications

    + Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations

    + Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures

    + Once certified and trained must be willing to work multiple inspection cells at the same time.

    Skills / Qualifications

    + High school diploma/GED required

    + Level 1 or 2 in UT inspection a large plus

    + Ability to read and interpret information, write legibly, take accurate measurements from a tape measure, present numerical data effectively, and edit work for correct spelling and grammar

    + Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

    + Sufficient vision, either natural or corrected, with ability to pass annual vision exams

    + Willing to work overtime when needed
