    How you will create impact:

    Within the Generative Artificial Intelligence program, the Application Deployment Release Engineer role will be working with Business and Technical Analysts, Solution Architects, Platform engineers and environment managers to coordinate delivery of new business capabilities from testing phases to production release. Familiarity with Scaled Agile continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps processes is required. The ability to work with technical and business partners to satisfy the needs of enterprise development controls, cross platform architectures and business regulatory needs are considerations for this position. Generative Artificial Intelligence ("GENAI") projects include a combination of new and enhanced capabilities for Underwriting and Claims Systems for Commercial Insurance.

    Your responsibilities include:

    + Planning and Coordination: Developing release schedules, coordinating with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure everything is aligned, and managing dependencies.

    + Release Management: Coordinate release activities across various teams, including engineering, QA, and product management. Manage release calendars and ensure alignment with business goals.

    + Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with deployments, developing contingency plans, and ensuring compliance

    + Process Improvement: Continuously improving the release process, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing best practices.

    + Communication and Collaboration: Communicate release plans, timelines, and updates to stakeholders and team members. Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment and cooperation. Serve as a liaison between different departments and external partners.

    + Tools and Technologies: Working with various CI/CD tools, deployment automation platforms, and version control systems.

    What is needed to be successful:

    + Strong familiarity with IT project management methodologies and associated working practices with an ability to adjust as needed;

    + Experience working in a complex release management environment;

    + Ability to execute release management activities including release planning, phase and scope governance, risk management and environment coordination;

    + Comfort with test management, DevOps and SCRUM tools and processes such as GitHub.

    + Familiarity with application setup and deployment activities;

    + Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders;

    + Self-starter who is a proactive, motivated, and resourceful individual who takes ownership of their work, embraces challenges, and consistently strives for excellence;

    + Proven record of engaging with executive stakeholders;

    + Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, and standalone SCRUM teams;

    + Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines;

    + Can adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

    + Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or proven record of experience in technology roles with required years of experience.

    + 1 5+ years of experience in delivering complex system integration projects

    + 5+ years in application deployment and release management processes.
