    * ***Position Summary:**

     

    Central Carolina in Sanford, NC. is seeking a Full time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit.

    The CNA will:

    Provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

    _Essential Functions:_**

    • Monitor vital signs/blood sugars**

    • Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition**

    • Measure and document input/output and weights**

    • Assist nurse as needed**

    • Answer call lights**

    • Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge**

    • Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient**

    • Distribute drinks and/or snacks

    * Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

    • Adhere to CCH attendance policy**

    • All other duties as assigned
