Work you'll do

+ Provide software development support to a suite of software applications and libraries used for mission operations support for the International Space Station.

+ Advance the Telescience Resource Kit (TReK) used for mission operations on the ISS and future moon to Mars missions

Qualifications

Required:

+ Ability to work full time (5 days a week) on client site in Huntsville, AL

+ Bachelor's degree & 4+ years of development experience in a mission support environment

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

+ 3+ years' experience in C/C++ programming

+ 3+ years' experience in object-oriented design and implementation

+ 3+ years' experience with Windows and Linux OS

+ Ability to integrate third-party libraries

Preferred:

+ Active Public Trust clearance

+ Domain expertise in space flight operations systems

+ Python, bash, Java, C#, Subversion, CMake, XML, JSON

+ Web-based system development

+ SQLite, virtual machines, cloud computing
