    Job Overview:

    The Patient Service Associate assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services from initial patient contact calls to delivery of prescriptions.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required within one (1) year of hire.

    + Knowledge of Pharmacy software, data entry, and MS Office.

    + Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of New Jersey is required, or must obtain registration within 6 months of start.

    + Unit Dose Repackaging machine knowledge/Non-sterile hazardous compounding/unit dosing experience.

    Preferred:

    + Home Infusion experience is a plus.

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Full-time, Day

    Essential Functions:

    + Exhibits strong and compassionate customer service skills.

    + Promptly expedites medication orders

    + Candidate will work closely with Pharmacists and department team members. They will be comfortable working in a fast paced pharmacy environment.

    + Data entry of Patient information and orders.
