    Responsibilities

    Key Accountabilities:

    + Collection and disbursement transactions with suppliers and customers in accounts payable and receivables

    + Use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and controls that will prevent or reduce risk of potential misstatements

    + Collect and analyze accounting data for accurate entries and internal/external reporting

    + Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), internal controls, and company and departmental procedures

    + Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts

    + Assist with internal and external audit requests

    + Prepare supporting schedules for assigned areas for monthly financial review

    + Manage assigned projects to deadlines

    + Work under deadlines and assist with resolving accounting challenges

    + Collaborate and grow in a team environment and be willing to learn and be coached by experienced accountants

    + Learn and apply knowledge and training in SAP and FCCS

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    + 6-9 years experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

    + Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

    + Positive and proactive attitude along with strong organizational skills

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

    + Proficiency in Excel required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + SAP experience

    + Payroll experience

    + Fixed asset experience
