    Career Opportunity:

    The Regional Quality Manager role is responsible for overseeing and managing quality assurance processes across multiple manufacturing sites. This role does not involve direct reports but requires strong leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with site managers and quality teams to drive compliance and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement tools and methodologies.

    How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:

    * Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems across multiple manufacturing sites.

    * Provide guidance, training and support to the regional and site-level management teams on quality standards, policies, practices, and customer requirements.

    * Collaborate with site managers and quality teams to identify and address quality issues and implement effective CAPAs.

    * Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    * Conduct regular audits and quality system reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and organizational standards and requirements.

    * Facilitate customer-facing engagements and communication, including site visits, audits, and business reviews.

    * Ensure effective communication and accurate reporting of quality performance to senior management.

    * Travel to manufacturing sites, customer sites, and supplier sites as needed to drive collaboration and improvement results.

    * Stay updated on accreditation standards, amendments and legislative changes, industry trends and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance the company\u2019s quality management system.

    What You Need to Succeed:

    * Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field.

    * Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.

    * Proven experience leading change and empowering others to drive improvement.

    * Ability and willingness to travel across the United States and Canada

    * Working knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001) or Food Safety (GMPs, GFSI, BRC, SQF).

    * Internal and/or lead auditor qualification

    * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer relationship management experience

    * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    * Proficient with Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and presenting information to multiple organization levels

    * Knowledge or experience with pharmaceutical industry standards and guidelines is a plus

    * Ability to travel to sites in the US and Canada
