Job Description

We are looking for an **Infrastructure Project Manager** to lead shipboard IT infrastructure projects from initiation to successful delivery. This position will be **full-time contract** and **hybrid** **in** **Miramar, FL.**

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do

+ Lead shipboard IT infrastructure projects (Dry Docks, Modernizations, New Builds, Destinations) from initiation to successful delivery

+ Develop and manage detailed project plans using MS Project or equivalent tools

+ Track and report on project budgets, forecasts, variances, and procurement milestones

+ Serve as the primary liaison across IT, shipboard operations, contractors, and senior business stakeholders

+ Travel globally to manage onsite execution during dry dock periods (4–12 weeks per trip)

+ Navigate fast-moving construction and upgrade environments—problem-solving daily challenges while ensuring project timelines stay intact

+ Prepare executive-level project updates, risk mitigation plans, and formal presentations

+ Ensure alignment with broader IT architecture, infrastructure strategy, and guest experience standards

What You'll Need

Required:

+ 5+ years of project management experience in infrastructure or operations-heavy environments

+ Recent experience managing large-scale projects using waterfall methodology and multi-workstream coordination

+ Strong budgeting, procurement, and vendor management skills

+ Highly developed problem-solving mindset—able to anticipate issues and pivot quickly

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences

+ Willingness and ability to travel 40–50% globally

Preferred:

+ PMP certification strongly preferred

+ Background in finance or detailed budget accountability

+ Shipboard experience or maritime industry exposure a strong plus

+ Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, networking, venue technologies, and construction site safety protocols

Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with the occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
