Job Title: Global Supply ManagerJob Description
We are currently seeking a Global Supply Manager to support the procurement of Low Voltage Electrical Control Units (ECU) and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA). The Global Supply Manager will manage all company business with a group of suppliers and serve as the key internal interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver world-class products on time and cost-effectively. The role involves identifying, developing, and managing the global supply chain, establishing our global supply chain strategy, supporting cross-functional teams during the development and industrialization phases, and driving sound business decisions throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities
+ Work directly with electronic and mechanical component tier 2 suppliers to ensure material clear-to-build (CTB) for Gravity and Midsize prototype builds.
+ Review, analyze, and clarify quotations from suppliers and present data to the supply chain for driving negotiations and sourcing decisions.
+ Support supply-chain and engineers with creating purchase requisitions in Coupa and SAP for prototypes, materials, and tooling.
+ Manage supplier development, tooling timelines, and part availability for prototype builds/start of production, developing solutions to delays or problems that arise.
+ Track Air and Gravity tester capacity to ensure testers and tools are ordered in time to prevent supply shortages.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
+ Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent.
+ Ability to creatively and effectively mitigate unforeseen problems.
+ Understanding of quality principles, product development processes, and data analysis.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, along with organizational and program management capabilities.
+ 4 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in EE components purchasing, PCBA, supply chain, supply chain management, procurement, and inventory management.
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment with a daily schedule from 9am-6pm PST, Monday to Friday, with flexibility as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
